Some of them can be obvious, such as trauma, falling, getting hit by a vehicle, or similar, but some can be a bit more confusing. So, if you suspect your pet has eaten something poisonous, that's definitely an emergency. If there is heavy bleeding, that's definitely an emergency. If there is trouble breathing, that is an emergency. A very common thing in male cats, if they cannot pee for half a day or longer, it is an emergency. Some of the things can be a little bit confusing, but these are a few of the main emergencies we see. And if there is a situation that you're not sure of, it is definitely good to check with your bed first and find out if this is an emergency.
