Meet Dr. Leticia Maia | Noble Veterinary Clinics

By Dr. Leticia Maia

There's more to our vets than what happens in the exam room. Here's a personal look at Dr. Leticia Maia.

In this video, Dr. Leticia shares how she relaxes, a common mix-up owners make, and a daily habit worth adopting.

Key Takeaways from Dr. Leticia:
- How She Unwinds: Yoga, reading, and binge-watching series to recharge.
- A Common Mix-Up: Owners sometimes mistake healthy nipples, present in both male and female cats and dogs, for concerning skin growths.
- A Favourite Film: Hachiko, a story of loyalty she finds genuinely moving.
- A Daily Habit Worth Adopting: Brushing your pet's teeth daily, something many owners overlook.

Hello, I'm Dr. Leticia from Noble Veterinary Clinic . Here's a little bit about me in 60 seconds. I love doing yoga ; it really helps me relax. I also love reading and binge-watching series on my sofa. It really helps me recharge for the next week. Yes, I have had some owners really concerned about skin growths, like multiple skin growths on the chest and belly of their pets . Once I finally checked the pet, it turned out they were just healthy nipples. They forget that cats and dogs are mammals, so they all have nipples, males and females. I really love the movie Hachiko ; it's about a Japanese Akita who waited for his owner every day at the train station at the same time. I really like it because it shows how loyal these pets can be towards us. Brush your pet 's teeth every day. Some owners don't understand that oral hygiene is really important and should be done at least once a day , ideally. I obviously love animals, but the most rewarding part is seeing the owners happy after we treat their pets and knowing the pets are safe here at Noble Veterinary Clinic. Thank you for learning a little bit about me. Hope to see you and your pets soon at Noble Veterinary Clinic.
