Hi, I'm Dr. Lidija. When your pets need to go to boarding, it is definitely a good idea to have a few things in order. Number one, beforehand, we should have them checked by a vet. Make sure all their vaccinations and preventatives are up to date. A very important step is also to get your pets used to being alone and without you. It is important to adjust and see ; perhaps even take them to spend a day there to see how it is. But the first thing is to make sure you have all the documentation and preventatives ready, and to ensure your pet is used to spending time without you and socializing with other animals.
