Hi, I'm Dr. Mafalda. Why does my pet have diarrhea? Loose stools can happen for several reasons. Sudden changes in diet, stress, parasites, infections, and even food intolerances. Although most cases will resolve within 2 to 3 days without any intervention , many cases can lead to dehydration and other health concerns. So, if your pet is not recovering, please check with your vet if it's time to bring him to the clinic.
