If your pet is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, we can complete the passport in a single visit.
What your pet needs
Anything missing can be done at the same appointment.
An ISO microchip
A 15-digit ISO-compliant chip is required before any other travel documents can be issued. More on microchipping
Current vaccinations
Rabies plus the core vaccines for their species, brought up to date if they've lapsed. Cat and dog schedules.
A veterinary examination
A standard health check, which is what allows one of our vets to issue the document.
That's it. No minimum age for the document, and no travel plans needed. Most pets leave with it the same day.
If you're moving abroad rather than just travelling, our relocation team can manage the whole process alongside your pet's passport.
THE PROCESS
How do we get your pet's passport ready?
Checkup and treatments
We begin with a vet consult, then proceed with the treatments your pet needs for the passport. This may involve microchipping, vaccinations, dewormers, and other tests.
Travel permit application
We apply for the official import or export permit through MOCCAE. Once issued, the permit is valid for 30 days, so your pet can travel any time within that window.
Health certificate issuance
We help secure endorsement from MOCCAE for the vet health certificate, confirming your pet is fit to fly. It's valid for up to 10 days from the date of issuance.
