Why should I vaccinate my pet?
Vaccinating your pet is one of the most effective ways to protect them from serious, potentially life-threatening diseases. Even if your pet stays mostly indoors, they can still be exposed to harmful viruses and bacteria through shared spaces like parks, grooming salons, or even from other animals in your building.
Vaccines help prevent highly contagious illnesses such as rabies, parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, feline panleukopenia, and herpesvirus. Some of these can also spread to humans. By keeping your pet up to date on their vaccinations, you’re not just protecting their health. You’re also helping reduce the risk for other animals and people around them.
It’s a key part of responsible pet care that supports long-term wellbeing, lowers emergency vet costs, and ensures your pet meets legal and travel requirements.

When should my pet have their vaccinations?
Puppies and kittens should start their vaccinations around 6 to 8 weeks of age. We typically administer three rounds of boosters, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, and complete the series around 16 weeks of age. This early protection is critical before they begin socialising or going outdoors.
Adult pets require regular booster shots to maintain immunity. Most core vaccines are given annually, while rabies may be required every one to three years, depending on your pet’s health and travel needs. If your pet has missed a dose, we’ll help get their schedule safely back on track.
