Dubai might be famous for glittering skyscrapers, golden deserts, and world-class shopping. But beneath all that glitter, there’s another obsession taking over: pizza.

Pizza is one of the most versatile and diverse dishes in the world, and Dubai hosts some of the best spots for a slice. To help you get started on your food adventure, we’ve compiled a list of the best pizzas in Dubai and the pizzerias to hit up.

  1. Pitfire Pizza

If Dubai had a neighborhood pizza joint type of spot, then Pitfire would be it. Their locations are all across Dubai, and all feature a full dining experience where pizza and comfort blend well. The lighting is low and warm, with a handsome bar and a very compact and buzzy layout.

What sets them apart from most of the best pizzas in Dubai is their 72-hour fermented dough that lands that magic balance. This brings out the puffy edges, crunchy base, and a soft chew that many pizza enthusiasts enjoy.

Now let’s head to the pizzas. Start classic with the Pepperoni Primo. If you like the heat, order the Spicy Salami Primo. For the white-sauce lovers, their White Pie features layers of whipped ricotta over alfredo and layers of cheese, an incredibly savory treat.

For something inspired by the Dubai lifestyle, they have The Palm. It has Bresaola, dates, and gorgonzola into a surprisingly perfect sweet-salty combo. Beyond pizza, they also have garlic knots, pastas, salads, and some amazing dessert options.

  1. L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele

If you want the Naples experience in Dubai, this is the one you should visit. The brand dates back to 1870 in Naples and even pops up in the famous movie “Eat, Pray, Love.” This pizza place in Dubai offers several strategic locations: The Beach at JBR, Dubai Hills Mall, and City Walk.

In each location, you enter a sleek and modern pizzeria, filled with that signature smell of pizza and the warmth of their gleaming dome oven. The room fills with laughter, good times, and even greater pizza.

The dough stays firmly Neapolitan, paying homage to its roots and culture. The Bronte layers pistachio cream and pancetta, while Zola brings blue cheese, smoked provola, spicy beef salami, and a dash of spicy honey.

You can also enjoy starters like their cuoppo Napoletano and Parmigiana di Melanzane. Aside from these, you can also order some salads, vegan pizzas, risotti, pastas, and their signature mains.

  1. Luigia

If you’re after the big, buzzy, pizza party, Luigia is your move. This pizzeria in Dubai sits on the ground floor of Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR. Here, you’ll be thrust into bold red walls, striking bright lights, and a sparkling set of interiors.

There’s also a proper kids’ playroom with an additional mini cinema in the corner. So, for big families, Luigia should be a pizza destination.

Aside from the interior and amenities, what made this place one of the best pizza places in Dubai is the actual pizza. They process their dough for 48 to 56 hours, making it light and easy to eat. They bake it Naples-style with a soft center and crispy outer rim.

The menu is expansive and varied, which is also great for big families and events. From the classic Marinara to several iterations on the Margherita, families can expect an explosion of choices and flavors. Stromboli and Miracolata are also great options.

Being one of the best pizzas in Dubai, Luigia also offers several options to complement your main pie. This includes a wide selection of pastas, sides, secondary dishes, and wines. Most of all, they also have their unique Petali, which is a flavor bomb in itself.

  1. Naughty Pizza

Naughty Pizza is the kind of upbeat, family-owned pizzeria that turns a simple pie into something more explosive. It’s one of the highest-rated pizza places in Dubai, and for a reason. But first, let’s talk about what’s inside.

It sits on the ground floor of Vezul Residence in Business Bay, so it’s easy to find and easier to keep coming back to. The interior is something else. Just like the name, it’s a mix of vibrant colors and beautiful patterns, being as explosive as their pizza.

On the plate, the style leans Neapolitan, delivered in that fast and hot bake from a proper oven. It’s the kind of crust that makes you fall in love without even trying out the toppings yet. The menu dials in on clear-cut favorites such as the Naughty Pizza, Carbopizza, and Mascalzone de Miele.

As you would expect, even their pizzas are a naughty creation. If you prefer the more classic options, they also have their own take on the Margherita, Parmigiana, and 5 Formaggi.

Aside from that, they also have a selection of sides, salads, pastas, mains, and their naughty treats.

  1. Bussola Pizzeria

Perched above the beach at The Westin Mina Seyahi, Bussola Pizzeria is an open-deck restaurant that features a breezy design with some of the best pizzas in Dubai. Here, you can expect a dark brown aesthetic, beautifully blending with the bright sky and views.

It combines dark and light tones beautifully, keeping the contrast stable, allowing the pizza to speak for itself.

Bussola’s upstairs menu is built around a wood-fired, stone-baked program. Think of thin, blistered bases with soft centers and puffy rims. It’s a pizza experience you won’t forget. Plus, they have a dedicated pizza list and a couple of favorites to pair it with.

Let’s start with their fritti and bruschettone. Crocchette di patate e provola and calamari offer a diverse appetizer experience, bringing traditional Italian street food to your table. They also have a variety of antipasti and salads to choose from.

Now, on to the main event. If you want the classics, their Margherita and Marinara pizzas are worth a try. The traditional pizzas never seem to miss. If you want their signatures, be sure to check out the Tartufata, Bussola, and Salsiccia e Broccolini.

For a sweet ending, tiramisu and some gelato.

  1. Moon Slice

Moon Slice is a homegrown hit that turned Dubai’s pizza dial up to eleven. It launched in Jumeirah’s Dar Wasl and quickly became one of Dubai’s best pizzas. Its focus on artisan pizzas and pies positioned itself as one of the go-tos for people on the go or looking for a bite.

Their interior sports a minimal and cozy setup, with warm, neutral tones and tiled spaces. This brings out an upscale and polished dining experience that makes pizza look fancy and classy.

For the menu, they like to keep it as concentrated as they can in order to focus on what matters the most: texture, quality, and taste. Moon Slice is crazy about their base, which is a 48-hour fermented dough, fired in a custom-made Italian oven.

The line-up swings from classic to special signatures made and inspired by Reif Othman. Common showstoppers include their Short Rib, The Earth, The Ms Secret, and The Chic. Along with these, they also have an assortment of starters, antipasti, salads, steak, and pastas.

  1. Franky’s Pizzeria

If your perfect pizza night includes a skyline breeze and a spritz at sunset, Franky’s is the spot. It’s a rooftop pizzeria at The Park in JLT, perched above sister spots Hawkerboi and Splendour Fields.

Here at Franky’s, expect plenty of green foliage, patterned cushions, and those candy-stripe floors with sunny yellow chairs. Basically, it’s a summer spot for the best pizzas in Dubai, a truly comforting spot that allows you to take in the colors and the pizzas.

While the interior might look like a cafe, don’t let that fool you. Franky’s offers contemporary Neopolitan pies and pizzas made with love and passion. While their place is loud, their pizza selection is minimal but equally as explosive.

Stracciatella, Pizza Al Tartufo, and a fiery Diavola are just some of the many pizza dishes you can try out here. If you want to pair it with some secondary dishes, try out Franky's Famous Family Meatballs and Franky’s Salad. For pasta, give the Gnocchi with Franky’s Meatballs a try.

  1. Za Za Slice

Now, for that cool and casual pizza spot, Za Za Slice is the one you’re looking for. It’s a late-night pizza place in Dubai that models its brand after New York, widely considered one of the best places for pizza.

The feel inside is immaculate, giving the illusion that you are thrust into the bustling streets of New York. With black and white checkered floors, dark brown elements, and some glowing fixtures, Za Za Slice perfectly captures the atmosphere from top to bottom.

But how about their pizza? Well, they’re very close. They keep the menu simple, helping people on the go decide on the fly while keeping the flavors expertly concentrated. Start off with some House Margherita and make your way to a slice of Pepp, which is essentially their version of a pepperoni pizza.

For some sides, try out their truffle fries and a few dips to give a more explosive flavor.

  1. Il Motto Pizzeria

Authentic Italian food is not that easy to come by, that’s why Il Motto Pizzeria sets the standard. The place features warm light and round lamps, giving the place a pop of comfort. It also has ambient greenery and a signature art piece that showcases a signature decor.

The menu splits neatly into Pizza Rossa and Pizza Bianca, with a classics-first approach and a handful of richer signatures. When you’re ready to branch out, check out the crowd-pleasers like the Diavola, Bresaola & Burrata, and Ribs & Porcini.

  1. BLU Pizzeria

BLU feels like a secret you stumble upon at the water’s edge. They focus on Neopolitan-style pizza, wood-fired to perfection. What’s unique about this pizzeria is the location and aesthetic.

While some pizza places in Dubai focus on modern elements, BLU uses the Fishing Harbour in Umm Suqeim to provide a cozy and comfortable dining spot right at the side of the marina. Think of a white, boxy frontage that extends beautifully into the open air, helping bring in that sea breeze.

Blue metal chairs, pale stone tiles, and full glass walls, BLU truly brings a new aesthetic to pizza.

For their menu, they feature sourdough-based pies that are puffed and lightly scorched. This brings texture to a whole new level. If you love the fundamentals, then try out the Margo and Burrata. For some signature favorites, try the Spicy Pepperoni, Short Ribs, and Tartufo.

After the meal, take out an order or two of their premium gelato as you walk by the harbor and enjoy the wind.

The pizzeria is an authentic showing of classic Neopolitan pizza. With Francesco Calò at the helm, their pizza has become one of the best in the city. We recommend the classics, but you can also try out their Tartufo, Burratina, and Primavera.

  1. MONNO

For the rustic pizzeria in the city feel, MONNO is your spot. The moment you step inside, you’re immediately introduced to the beautifully dark interior, sporting colors like brown, black, and white, as well as a mix of the three.

The greenhouse-like room at the back catches late-afternoon light, and the whole space has that quietly confident, neighborhood feel. Their iconic woodfire oven sits beautifully right at the corner, near the area where decorative wood is kept to enhance that pizzeria experience.

Pizzas are firmly Neapolitan, with soft centers and airy rims. Margherita, Quattro Formaggi, and Burrata are the classics. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try out their Salamino Di Wagyu, Tartufo Fresco, and Mortadella Pistacchio.
