Dr. Rokas Prosevicius is a highly experienced veterinary surgeon known for his calm precision, clinical insight, and unwavering commitment to emergency and critical care. After earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013, he pursued advanced clinical training in the United Kingdom, working in top tier veterinary hospitals where high pressure situations were the norm. These formative years helped shape his expertise in small animal surgery, internal medicine, and trauma care.

Dr. Rokas’s journey into veterinary medicine began long before his professional training. As a child, he had a Boxer named Tigris who had to be euthanized due to an oncological disease. The experience left a lasting impact on him and his family. In that moment, he made a promise to become a veterinarian and dedicate his life to helping animals while supporting families through some of the most difficult moments of pet ownership. That promise continues to guide his work today.

Originally from Lithuania, Dr. Rokas brings the same integrity, dedication, and hands on excellence to Dubai that marked his career in Europe. His background as a veterinarian trained in the UK gives him a valuable cross cultural perspective, and his approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence based medicine.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Rokas enjoys an active lifestyle. He has been a passionate pool player since 2015 and regularly cycles both outdoors in the desert and in indoor cycling classes. During the cooler months in Dubai, he enjoys spending time by the sea with his wife and their young son.

At home, Dr. Rokas shares his life with a cat named Kupidona, whose name comes from Cupid. She is bravely navigating life with their young son, who shows her what Dr. Rokas jokingly calls a very enthusiastic kind of love.
