She holds degrees in Agricultural and Animal Engineering, a Master’s in Veterinary Medicine, and a Postgraduate degree in Medical Parasitology from the prestigious Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Institute in Lisbon.

Dr. Mafalda’s career spans academia and clinical practice. She has taught neurology and angiology while developing internal medicine, abdominal ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery expertise. As a former Clinical Director, she led comprehensive veterinary operations, combining her clinical acumen with leadership excellence.

As a passionate mentor, Dr. Mafalda is committed to helping her team develop to ensure the highest standard of care for all animals. As the medical director of our Jumeirah clinic, she continues to share her expertise and love for animals.
