Jumeirah Lake Towers

Jumeirah Lake Towers is a living, breathing community intentionally crafted, thoughtfully scaled, and unmistakably urban. Atkins designed the mixed-use district, and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre developed it. In 2004, construction began.

Over the years, this vibrant vertical neighborhood quickly became the talk of the town. With over 100,000 people working and living here, the developers' vision has become more than just real estate development.

After twenty years of growth, the community has undergone significant changes. These changes made it the lively space it is right now, while still feeling a close-knit community.

Behind Jumeirah Lake Towers lies the vision of DMCC, Dubai’s authority for commodities trade and enterprise. The goal was to build a place where people can live, work, and relax, all in one planned community.

While construction started in 2004, the first residents began moving into towers lining the tranquil artificial lakes by 2007. Construction pushed on into the early 2010s, finishing the last major tower by 2012.

Upon completion, the project boasted 1.35 million square meters. It featured a balanced mix of residential, commercial, and public spaces.

What makes JLT unique is its cluster layout. They designate each area with a letter (A to Z) and name it after the lakes that run through it.
