What parasites affect pets in the UAE
External parasites
Fleas, ticks, and mites feed on your pet's blood, causing itching and skin irritation, often around the ears, belly, and paws. Left unchecked, an infestation can spread through the home quickly.
Internal parasites
Roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, and whipworms infect the digestive system, causing vomiting, diarrhoea, and discomfort. They can also interfere with nutrient absorption over time.
Vector-borne parasites
Mosquitoes and ticks can transmit serious diseases, including heartworm, which affects the heart and lungs, and tick-borne infections such as Ehrlichiosis and Babesiosis, both confirmed present in the UAE.

How we keep your pet protected
Prevention starts with a consistent deworming schedule and year-round flea and tick control. Every pet has their own plan, and we send a reminder before each treatment is due.

First treatment
Starts at 2 weeks old, repeating every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age.
12 weeks
Monthly dosing
After 12 weeks, deworm monthly until your puppy or kitten is 6 months old.
6 months on
Adult schedule
From 6 months, we settle into an ongoing rhythm tailored to your pet’s lifestyle and exposure risk.
Good hygiene at home helps too, washing bedding regularly, limiting unsupervised outdoor exposure, and washing your hands after handling your pet. Paired with routine wellness exams and stool testing, most infections are caught early and treated quickly.
