Dr. Susana Chaves is an experienced veterinary cardiologist providing referral-based cardiology consultations, echocardiograms, and advanced imaging services. She provides diagnostic insights while primary veterinarians retain full case management and follow-up responsibilities.

A graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Portugal in 2007, Dr. Susana built her career in leading hospitals in Lisbon, where she developed strong expertise in cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and internal medicine. Her training includes advanced echocardiography, thoracic and abdominal ultrasonography, and fine-needle aspirates, refined through close work with emergency and intensive care units.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Susana enjoys going to the cinema, taking family walks, and bodybuilding, reflecting her commitment to balance, personal growth, and overall well-being.
