WHAT WE GIVE

Core and Lifestyle Vaccinations

Core vaccines are recommended for every dog in Dubai and are required by law. These vaccines depend on how your dog spends their time, and we will talk it through with you.

CORE

DHPPi/L

Also written as DA2PP

One combination vaccination covering several illnesses, given as part of your dog's core schedule. These are the conditions dogs are most likely to meet, indoors or out.

Distemper

Protects against a highly contagious virus, one of the main reasons early puppy vaccination matters

Adenovirus (CAV-1 and CAV-2)

Protects against canine hepatitis and a common respiratory illness

Parvovirus

Protects the gastrointestinal tract, particularly important for puppies under six months

Parainfluenza

Protects against a leading contributor to kennel cough, especially relevant for dogs who spend time around other dogs

Leptospirosis

Protects against a bacterial infection that can affect the kidneys and liver, and reduces the risk of exposure for your household too

CORE

Rabies

Required by law in the UAE

Given from 14 to 16 weeks, then on a regular booster schedule. Rabies vaccination is also the foundation of every pet export certificate, so it matters if you ever plan to travel with your dog.

LIFESTYLE

Bordetella

Recommended for dogs who regularly visit grooming, boarding, or daycare, since it protects against a leading cause of kennel cough.

Canine Influenza

Worth considering for dogs at risk of the H3N8 or H3N2 flu strains, particularly those who mix with other dogs often.

Lyme Disease

Advised for dogs at risk of exposure to deer ticks, especially those who spend time outdoors in tick-prone areas.

Your Puppy’s Vaccination Schedule

Every dog has their own plan, and we send a reminder before each visit is due. This is the shape most dogs follow.

How much does it cost

We keep our pricing clear and straightforward, so you can give your dog the protection they need without any surprises.

TRAVELLING WITH YOUR DOG

Vaccinations are where every dog’s move begins

If your dog is flying with you, their rabies vaccination is the foundation of the whole process. Every export certificate, import permit, and blood test is dated from it, so getting it right early keeps the rest straightforward.

Rabies, correctly dated

Most countries require the rabies vaccination to be given a set period before travel. We record the date precisely, because everything else is counted from it.

Rabies titer testing

The UK, EU, Australia, and others require a blood test taken after vaccination, followed by a waiting period. This is usually the longest part of the timeline.

Microchipping

An ISO compliant chip must be in place before the rabies vaccination for the paperwork to be accepted. We check this at the first visit.

Health certificates

Our vets issue your dog's certificate, timed so it lands within the window your destination requires.

Planning a move abroad?

For the UK, EU, or Australia, start four to seven months before you fly. Our relocation team handles the permits, crate, flight, and receiving agent at the other end.

Everything You Need to Know

Questions? We're here to help

Are vaccinations painful for dogs?

No. The shots themselves are quick, and most dogs tolerate them well without much reaction at all.

Are there any potential side effects?

Some dogs experience mild tiredness, reduced appetite, localised soreness, or a low-grade fever. We recommend keeping an eye on them at home and contacting us if you notice anything that concerns you.

Can vaccinations cause behavioural changes in my dog?

Most dogs show no noticeable change at all. A small number may seem a little quieter or less interested in activity for a day or two, which usually settles on its own.

What should I do if my dog misses a dose?

Contact us, and we'll put together a revised schedule. Keeping their boosters on track is what keeps their protection strong.

Can my dog be vaccinated if they're feeling ill?

We don't recommend it. Vaccines work best on healthy dogs, so we'll usually wait until they've recovered before administering a dose.

Do you accept walk-ins or offer home vaccinations?

Yes, we do. Booking ahead helps us guarantee your dog's dedicated appointment time, especially on busier days, but we can also accommodate walk-ins where possible.
