About the Job

As an Avian and Exotic Specialist Veterinarian, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of a wide range of avian and exotic species, providing both primary and referral-level care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, advanced species-specific knowledge, and a calm, confident approach to handling complex cases.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat medical conditions in birds and exotic animals such as reptiles, small mammals, and amphibians.

Perform specialized medical and surgical procedures tailored to the unique anatomy of avian and exotic species.

Conduct health examinations and diagnostic tests to identify diseases and monitor overall health.

Develop treatment, nutrition, and preventive care plans for a wide range of exotic pets.

Educate and communicate with pet owners about proper care, habitat management, and disease prevention for exotic animals.
