Akira is a sweet and gentle girl who may take a little time to come out of her shell. She’s mostly shy and would do best with a patient family who understands that settling into a new home takes time. Once she feels safe, you’ll see just how sweet and adorable she really is.

Akira was rescued from Abu Dhabi along with her six siblings, and unfortunately, she has become one of our longest-staying dogs. We’ve brought her to adoption events and tried to give her more chances to be seen, but she still hasn’t received a single application.

She would be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home where she can take things at her own pace and build trust with her family. If you’re looking for a gentle dog and have the patience to let her settle in, please give Akira a chance. She has been waiting for hers for far too long.
