Salar has been General Manager at Noble since December 2021. He came to veterinary care from technology, with a degree in Software Engineering, a Master's in Information Technology Management, and sixteen years leading the IT department at GNEC. Earlier in his career he taught programming at university.

That background shapes how he approaches the role. A group of clinics runs on systems as much as on skill, and much of his work is making sure the structure behind the care is as considered as the care itself.

What he enjoys most is the part that has nothing to do with systems. Seeing a pet recover, and seeing the relief on an owner's face, is what makes the work worthwhile.

Outside the clinic he spends time with his family, swims, and plays guitar.
